About Emelia James, RMT, CPT

Emelia James, RMT, CPT has always had a keen interest in healthy living and has enjoyed educating and helping other people. Growing up, Emelia was heavily involved in the sport of figure skating. Throughout her time in the sport, she encountered various injuries that went both undiagnosed and untreated. She always felt that something more could have been done. This aspect of her life combined with her undeniable interest in the human body lead her to complete the Health, Wellness and Fitness program at Mohawk College in 2017, graduating with Presidents Honours. This was a great stepping stone and motivated her to find even more ways to help others, which sent her directly into the Advanced Massage Therapy program at Mohawk College, where she also graduated with Presidents Honours.

Emelia is registered with the College of Massage Therapists of Ontario (CMTO) and is a member of the Registered Massage Therapists Association of Ontario (RMTAO). Emelia is also a National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM) Certified Personal Trainer and finds that Massage Therapy and physical fitness go hand in hand. In her spare time, Emelia likes to exercise, read, and listen to various podcasts in the area of personal development. She has a strong belief that everyone should be living each day striving to be just a little bit better than the last.
